Plan and track progress on all levels

In Daily-Scrum you plan your project by creating user stories (deliverables). These can be assigned estimates and business values.

The estimates are used for determining project milestones and project end. The business values contribute in the project release planning and helps understand what the project delivers during each iteration of the project.

Together, estimates and business values, are used in the prioritization process of the project.

Deliverables may be assigned acceptance/quality criteria which can be used during development and be approved by users to ensure the solution you build in the project is satisfying these criteria.

Impediments are used in Scrum as opposed to risks, which means that you will start focus on obstacles once they occur. In Scrum you do not spend time on risks in advance, but handle them as they appear through-out the project.
